Flight from hometown to San José, Costa Rica with arrival before 1pm. Van transportation provided for all participants for the 3.5 hour drive to Mountains to Sea Fitness & Wellness Retreat. We will stop for snacks & provisions along the way. Once arrived, everyone will settle into their villas. Our opening huddle (huddle = group together for announcements and/or wellness discussions) and dinner will follow. Reminder, all meals are organized for nutritious value and prepared fresh daily by a chef using locally sourced organic ingredients. All dietary needs can be met. After dinner, we get some rest.
Rise and shine to sunrise (if you want) before the first morning workout. Reminder each workout will vary to give exposure to several types of training formats and are applicable to all fitness levels. We will also design the workout to compliment the day's activity. Delicious brekkie will be served afterwards.
Our adventure activity will be our hike to Nauyaca Falls, one of the best waterfalls in Costa Rica. It does not disappoint. One of the falls is forty-five meters high in free fall and the other twenty meters high in stepped fall, forming at the foot of it, a pool of a thousand square meters and six meters deep to swim in (weather and water flow permitting). It does not disappoint.

Today we begin with an earlier brekkie to get ready for our adventure of zip lining through the jungle. We will ride 1 hour to the best zip line canopy tours in southern Costa Rica. This unique adventure crosses the majestic landscape of the Costa Rican rainforest, with stunning views.
All together you’ll zip 7 different cables (ranging from 200m long to 1.1km), move between 13 platforms, get lowered down 3 rappels,
and challenge your balance on 2 hanging bridges.
After return and recovery time, we will host an afternoon workout followed
by a huddle, sunset and dinner.
Sunrise, and morning chill time start day 4 off nicely. Today is a great day to reflect on your time here and get rejuvenated for the last couple of days. Mid morning workout, local hikes, pool time and an afternoon cooking class will round out the afternoon. Sunset and dinner settles us into the evening with chat and hang time.
Rise and shine with a movement workout this morning. After brekkie and a morning huddle, we are hitting the beach for some sun, sand and surf. What a fun day of hanging on Playa Dominical. The rolling hills covered with jungle start only a couple of meters from the beach. You may spot exotic wildlife like monkeys, toucans and sloths just by walking and driving around this stunning natural area. Surf lessons will be provided for a couple of hours. Lessons include take home photos and English speaking surf instructors that will have you catching waves in no time. Beach hang, explore time in Dominical and lunch are on your own today. Dominical has a vibrant local culture.
Some say it's a laid-back surfer town with a hippie atmosphere.

It's all about recovery today. We've been fitnessing and adventuring all week so it's time for some rejuvenation. We will begin with a mobility and flexibility workout to shake out the week, recenter ourselves and go into the day with gratitude of what all we have experienced this week.
Brekkie and pool hang consume the remainder of the morning. After lunch, everyone will get an hour massage while we continue to enjoy our structured unstructured time by the pool, hammocks, etc.
Later, our last sunset and dinner together followed by our final huddle to recap the retreat.
