Flight from hometown to Cancun, MX with arrival before 12pm. Van transportation provided for all participants for the 35 minute drive to the Cancun port. We will hop on the ferry that takes us over to the beautiful island of Isla Mujeres. Our chariots for the week (Golf carts) will be waiting at the port for us. Once arrived at Villa De La Vida, everyone will settle into their rooms.
We will host our opening huddle (huddle = group together for announcements and/or wellness discussions) and then sunset and dinner from local Chef Roger. Reminder, all meals are organized for nutritious value and prepared fresh daily by a chef using locally sourced ingredients. All dietary needs can be met. After dinner, hang time and get some rest.
Today we begin with an earlier brekkie to get ready for our snorkel or scuba adventure. We will meet up with Jesús and crew with Squalo Adventures. Both groups will dive into the beautiful Carribbean to check out Manchones Reef and the MUSA (underwater museum of sculptures). Post water time, we will meet back on Playa Centro for an hour hang and lunch (oyo).
After, we return to our Villa for an afternoon workout and huddle. Reminder each workout will vary to give exposure to several types of training formats and are applicable to all fitness levels. We will also design the workout to compliment the day's activity.
Dinner (oyo) tonight will be down on Hidalgo Street... Isla's hotspot for restaurants, shops and bars.
Rise and shine to sunrise (if you want) at Punta Sur. Punta Sur is the southern tip of Isla and has walking paths, sculptures, cliffs and panoramic views of the Caribbean Sea. Brekkie will be provided pool side and then a huddle and our second workout.
Next, we head out for our beach hang on Playa Norte, one of the best beaches in Mexico. Here we will setup "camp" and have an opportunity to grab lunch (on your own = oyo) from local vendors, get a massage, sunbathe, dip in the cool water, etc. (Today or Saturday will be good for deep sea fishing if you desire).
Recovery time in the arvo (afternoon) back at the Villa before our next adventure... a sunset catamaran cruise with food, bevies, live music and good times.
Morning chill time starts day 4 off nicely. Today is a great day to reflect on your time here and get rejuvenated for the last couple of days. Brekkie, mid morning workout and open day to relax or explore. Plenty of options like chillaxin' by the Villa pool, shopping on Hidalgo, deep sea fishing or beach combing.
In the afternoon, we will hop on beach cruisers for our Food & Culture Tour with José. Now that we are full of great local cuisine, we will have hang time by the pool or walk over to The Joint... live music reggae bar within walking distance of our Villa.
UN DIA MAS!... One more day! Rise and shine with a movement workout and huddle this morning on the beach as the sun comes up. What a refreshing way to start our last day. Brekkie will be at the delicious Mango Café (oyo).
Afterwards we will have several options again to create your fun. We will taxi groups (or individuals) around the island for beach hang, sea glass hunt, kayaking, or anything else on your list. Delicious dinner tonight from once again, Chef Roger. Relax.
It's all about recovery today. We've been adventuring all week so it's time for some rejuvenation. We will begin with a mobility and flexibility session to shake out the week, recenter ourselves and go into the day with gratitude of what all we have experienced this week.
Brekkie, packing and then pool hang consume the remainder of the morning. Hop the ferry between 10-11:30am for flight no earlier than 1pm. Adios Isla Mujeres... Hasta Próxima!
